In my dream, mom was still alive, but for serious crazy and kept trying to hide under her bed or inside dresser drawers. (and she fit, weirdly enough) Her friend Farrah came over and we put mom in a hospital. A VET HOSPITAL. I don't know.
Then, I went to see a movie at a theatre with a seriously long parking lot that for some reason had a forrest. I went in and bought tickets for a horror movie that was by John Waters, for some reason. It must have been the premier, as all the actors were in the audience. Though, I think maybe I was in the movie too, as I then had the point of view of a character in the movie.
But I didn't feel like me after this point, I felt like the character in the movie. It seemed to be about this group of friends, ala the breakfast club, but they were really close and also there was supernatural stuff like vampires and werwolves, and ghosts, but there were also psychics called extractors, and when they had visions, black graphitey ink stuff came out of their nose and eyes. People were afraid of them, because the extractors you saw on the street were all frail and out of it and in a sort of living death by the time they were mid-20s, but one of the main characters found out she was one mid-movie, and she was introduced to this sort of social club for them called The Grid, and when you are starting to lose your mind and become out of it, the Grid joins up and becomes a sort of living computer or something. I kind of want to steal that for a thing, because it seems kind of a+ awesome. Can you steal from yourself?
Anyway, this girl had visions that her friends were at prom but in trouble. Also, she had one of thoe gender neutral names I guess so later, there could be confusion about whether she was a guy or a girl by somone who had never met her.
But yeah, visions that friends at prom were in trouble, which they were. There was a guy who had taken prom hostage, and had killed one of the dads who was like...prom...watching...host...person or whatever that's called. Then he tied them up and made them all go to the lbrary, which was the size of a B&N for some reason, and was scary and freaky and weird.
She came to the school with a cop played by Brian Austin Green, and after a lot of fakeout visions including one where they for some reason decided to have a tea and pancake party, BAGCop and Psychic Girl saved the day, and the bad guy got killed.
Then the movie was over, and everyone left, but they were talking like the stuff in the movie actually happened, and they were all mad because hostage taker guy was in another movie they did that was going to do really well, so they were annoyed about it. And one of the guys was annoyed that another movie he was in wasn't going to be filmed because of this, and then Paul Rudd showed up and was all "No, I'm directing it, it's ok."
And for some reason that turned into yelling at him for being in too many of those movies he's in lately that also have the dude from How I Met Your Mother. What. I don't even know. Is this on my mind a lot?
Then I went back to the parking lot, but got lost for a bit. When I got to the lot, I couldn't find my car, so instead I got a ride from John Waters, or I would have but he wouldn't start the car until the credits ran.
And they Never Did.
