My favorite radio show ever that is still on the air made the point today that Hiro's current plotline, if you take it to the very basic elements, is pretty much just the plot of Back to the Future.

And it's so true.

Especially a particular scene from last night. I won't get spoilerific, but I hope people know which one I mean.

oh. good.

Movies. Heh!

Sony have commissioned a further two sequels to Luis Llosa's “Anaconda” – sans the original’s all-star cast. Who's starring? David Hasselhoff. He’s joined by Crystal Allen (“Maid in Manhattan”), John Rhys Davies (“Lord of the Rings”) and Zoltan Butuc (“Funny Money”).

oh. boy.

Even better!

Adrian Paul, who stars in the upcoming SCI FI original movie Wraiths of Roanoke says that he was immediately intrigued by its reality-meets-SF premise. I actually really liked the script on this thing," Paul said in an interview. "It was a small script that they came to me with, and it's about the lost colony, the very first colony, that came from Britain to the United States [in 1587]. Eventually, 111 colonists disappeared. When they came back to find them, they'd all gone. And this is the sci-fi version of what happened to them."

Paul, most recently seen in the SCI FI original movie Highlander: The Source, plays the hero, Ananias Dare. "Dare was the husband of Eleanor Dare [Frida Show], and they had the very first European child that was born in the United States," Paul said. "He becomes the leader of the colony once her father has left, and he tries to save everybody from these things [the wraiths of the title] that are killing them."

ahahaha. yaaaaay.
